The fate of the cutting edge of England, Wayne Rooney in the 2012 European Cup group phase has not been clearly linked the threat of sanctions from UEFA. Although the heaviest punishment that is not appearing in three games, Fabio Capello will still include Rooney in his squad.
Wayne Rooney will face UEFA's disciplinary committee relating to the violation done to the Montenegrin players at Euro 2012 final match. As a result of the incident Rooney was awarded a red card and got a 3 match ban punishment.
This situation makes Wayne Rooney threatened absent in the first three group phase matches and Euro 2012 is a great loss for England, and Fabio Capello Rooney could have been crossed out and come up with other players who can perform since the first game.
However, this was not taken up by Capello. If an appeal is filed is rejected, Capello will still include them in the squad to Poland-Ukraine.
The fate of England striker will be determined middle of next week when he and several representatives of the FA scheduled a meeting with UEFA's disciplinary committee. Parties to the Three Lions hoping Rooney can be reduced at least one sentence that can still play in the final game the group phase.
