Gareth Frank Bale (born 16 July 1989) is a Welsh People association football who plays for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and the Wales national football team. Gareth Bale started out as a Defender (association football) Wingback, but has recently been frequently used as a Midfielder Winger. Bale began Gareth Bale professional career with Football League Championship side Southampton F.C. in 2005 and was transferred to Tottenham two years later.
