New Boot Camp!


Announcing a New CrossFit Central Program at Jack and Adam’s Tri Shop! Starting Monday, May 4th, Jack and Adams Tri-Shop and Crossfit Central are teaming up to bring functional fitness and core strength conditioning to the heart of Austin’s Fit City community.
Our new outdoor boot-camp style program will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 5:45am to 6:45am. We are limiting this program to 18 participants. The first 10 people to sign up will get $25 off this first month’s program. The monthly rate for this program is $220 (only $18 per class). We give a 10% discount for bank draft or credit auto payments and 15% off for active students/military/service (police, fire, EMS).
CrossFit Central Boot Camp is a Functional Training Program for fitness enthusiasts. It is a hybrid program combining elements of CrossFit and boot camps developed to compliment your over all fitnessand sports training. Functional Training is important to an athlete’s success. By engaging in a functional training program, you will increase your endurance, core stability,and strength which will help to prevent injury and set yourself up for success!

CrossFit Central Training will implement and improve all ten fitness skills with a focus on the following:

1. Endurance-The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen (cardiovascular/respiratory endurance)
2. Stamina - The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy. (capacity to maintain repetitive muscular movements)
3. Strength - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force
4. Flexibility - the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint
5. Power - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time
6. Speed - The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement
7. Coordination - The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a single distinct movement
8. Agility - The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another
9. Balance - The ability to control the placement of the body's center of gravity in relation to its support base
10. Accuracy - The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity
