Juventus Not Involved Calciopoli

Turin - Post-conviction of its former director general, Luciano Moggi, Juventus immediately spoke up. Juventus confirms if they did not get involved with Calciopoli.

Moggi has just been sentenced to 5 years and 4 months imprisonment by a court tribunal in Naples for his involvement in the case of Calciopoli five years ago.

Moggi was considered as the main actor behind the tragedy that shocked Italy and make Juve's relegation to Serie B.

Now after finally Moggi pindana punished by having to crouch in the cell, Juve were inevitably dragged back into the case. In order to avoid the negative charges in the future, the club issued a statement directly related to the trial's outcome.

The decision today said Juventus was not involved with the case. The club underwent a court in Naples as a form of responsibility as a citizen of civil law by the Italian Civil Code article 2049.

Decisions are taken from the results of the trial as a whole and also the analysis of all the evidence, contrary to the law already punishes sports where Juventus, by eliminating the two titles, although the victory achieved in the field - with the consequences of degradation and loss of a few other things.

Juventus will continue their efforts to gain legitimacy equal treatment.
